If you have any questions please contact Gary Aldridge, Service Manager, on 01442 275 880.

Gary Aldridge, our Oxygen Recovery Service Manager, recently spoke to Matt Hatton at Radio Dacorum to talk about Druglink, what we do, and how we have adapted our service and offering during the COVID-19 pandemic. Listen to the interview below. We think Gary did very well for his first live radio performance!

During the COVID-19 pandemic everyone has had to adapt to difficult situations. Here at Druglink we've helped even more street homeless to ensure people have had a safe and secure place to live. We have introduced new methods for therapies, group work and counselling so that our service users have had the best access to care whilst maintaining social distancing and sticking to safety guidelines.

We're so proud of our Director of Care and Support - Wendy Nee - who has won 'The Care Leadership Award' at The Hertfordshire Care Awards on Friday 22nd November. Wendy puts everything into her work here at Druglink and she ensures the smooth running of our housing and support service on a daily basis. This is an incredible achievement and is so deserved. Thank you Wendy for all your hard work, we're so happy that it's been recognised! Through the Hertfordshire Care Awards, HCPA celebrates and rewards the successes of care providers and showcases why Care in Hertfordshire is outstanding.

More than 30 Britvic employees volunteered for the day with Druglink to help develop our client support facilities. The volunteer day saw a team from Britvic’s Marketing & Innovation department redecorating the communal spaces at Oxygen Recovery to create an even warmer, more welcoming environment for clients to help aid in their recovery from substance misuse. A second team of Britvic volunteers worked to create an outdoor therapy space at Druglink’s head office. The garden therapy area will aid the client recovery programme of therapeutic approaches that aim to improve both the body and mind. Wellbeing and physical activities such as yoga, drama, martial arts and gardening will all be able to be carried out in a comforting outdoor space. Read the full press release.
